Grant AlCrN Ion Coating Drip Tip
27,45 €
Our first RDL/DL drip tip stands 13.5mm height, our signature base and Kennedy-like shape. Its 5.5mm inner bore was intended to be the best for the Diplomat RDL RTA as it’s its original drip tip.
The slim section after the base keeps your mouth away from the top cap of any atomizer, while the curved top section fits your lips perfectly. Two radial lathe cuts elevate its elegance to the same level as its functionality.
Last but not least, as any other Centenary Mods drip tip, Grant features a deep engraving with its name in the bottom of the 510 attachment to pay justice to its luxurious design.
Alcrona (AlCrN) is a titanium free ion coating for broad application in machining and forming operations. Our AlCrN coatings were deposited on steel substrates using cathodic arc evaporation. This coating is particularly attractive due to its excellent resistance to oxidation and mechanical properties as well as chemical stability. The coefficient of friction is only 0.35μ, making it almost non-sticking. Overstands DLC treatment wear and scratch resistance due to its microhardness of 3200-3500 HV. Keeps its thermal stability up to 1000-1100º. And finally, exhibits a gray color with reflections in light blue. The gray tone depends on the finish of the steel: the more polished it is, the lighter and brighter the gray will be.
Is widely used in industrial applications to improve the performance of cutting tools, molds, and dies. Is absolutely non-sense bring this technology to vaping. Similar colors can be achieved with other much less expensive treatments and the resistance to wear, tear, corrosion, oxidation and heat is far higher than the actual needs of vaping. But if you want the best quality and mechanical/chemical properties look no further. Throw a couple Grant AlCrN drip tips in your pocket and they will scratch your keys.
